Research Assistant
CurrentAt TU Delft, I am developing a motion planning and prediction model for autonomous vehicles in microsimulation. The goal of my research is to achieve a more realistic picture of mixed traffic of autonomous vehicles and human-driven vehicles in order to evaluate the impacts of autonomous vehicles on traffic safety and efficiency, as well as the environment and society.I am also participating in the EU-funded Hi-Drive project, which aims to deploy and evaluate state-of-the-art Automated Driving (AD) technologies across European countries.

I was managing a research project that aimed to study human mobility patterns using anonymized data. We use different packages in Python (e.g., Dask, Pandas, GeoPandas, NetworkX, SciKit-Learn, NumPy, SciPy, KeplerGL, etc), as well as QGIS and database management tools, to anonymously study users' behavior and classify travelers into different activity groups. Also, we address accessibility and equity issues by identifying major activity centers and measuring the required travel distance for different user groups in the city.
