- Manage and operate a Coral Nursery featuring nearly 40 species of coral, providing educational presentations on coral biology, ecology, and conservation efforts.-Oversee coral propagation for integration into reef aquariums and support long-term sustainability of the coral nursery which also acts as a coral conservation bank.- Maintain, aquascape, and balance the ecosystems of 20 saltwater reef aquariums, including some of the oldest reef tanks in Australia, with various species of marine reef fish and invertebrates native to the Great Barrier Reef.- Conduct enrichment training and educational presentations on Hawksbill Turtle biology and behavior, focusing on habituation and species-specific enrichment.-Perform lab work, including quarantining sick fish and corals, conducting microscopic analysis to diagnose illness, mortality as well as changes to an environment, and measuring water parameters to maintain optimal tank conditions.- Knowledgeable in crocodile behaviour, habitats, and feeding, with hands-on experience in feeding and providing care for resident crocodiles.- Conducting grant applications and many forms of correspondence with Marineland Melanesia stakeholders.
