Architect and builder of the underground wireless communication system for the New York City subway system within one of the most complicated urban contexts; a system that serves 1.7 billion riders per year. Saeid directed design and deployment of "a state-of-the-art network with a 160-mile fiber-optic backbone, five data centers, 5,000 Wi-Fi access points, and a distributed antenna system (DAS) with over 7,000 antennas" (Saeid Malaki, govtech.com Dec. 4, 2020); the foundation to advance the NYC’s Smart City goal. Under his leadership, the project was delivered under budget and ahead of schedule.He is an accomplished executive with an hands-on expertise in offering advanced communication infrastructure solutions in unique hard-to-serve environments. He has a proven background in successful leadership of large multidisciplinary teams and programs.Saeid is an alumnus of Columbia University in the City of New York.
