Saeko is a Japanese entrepreneur in Third Culture Kids education (https://www.tckwshop.com/). While attending Harvard Business School as a Fulbright scholar, she founded TCK Workshop, a premium-priced online tutoring service for internationally mobile children. TCK Workshop teaches language and subject content in Japanese/American/British/IB curriculums with the intent of supporting bilingual children to survive the academic and emotional challenges involved in international relocation. TCK is funded and incorporated in Japan and has rapidly grown to a popular online tutoring solution for 1300+ students in thirty cities and twenty countries around the world. Being a bilingual / bicultural person herself, she hopes to increase the number of children with cultural awareness and the ability to lead in diversity. She has a popular TEDx talk on the topic.Prior to HBS, she worked at Procter and Gamble Japan, first as Financial Analyst and then as Assistant Finance Manager. Her experience includes business strategy development, budgeting and forecasting, product portfolio management, new brand launch, business turn-around, supply chain optimization and post-merger process design.
