Several products have grown to hundreds of millions of daily active users and one product has grown to 1 billion daily actives.Originated ideas and saw through completion of a research project on graph-based history data structures resulting in a paper in W3 conference.Assisted with countless other efforts and projects, including mentoring, giving and organizing presentations and participating in small efforts.Awarded two patents and many project bonuses.

An Engineering Design House specializing in analog, digital, and software designs built around flexible FPGAs with embedded soft-processors, providing complete engineering services from initial architecture to final integration.Worked on a system to control and monitor the charging phase of battery manufacture for a large battery supplier. Design involved FPGA, Software and Hardware components and was delivered to spec and on time.

Consulting service ranged from actual product design to brainstorming on approaches for marketing, sales and business strategy.• Researched and developed digital printer product for a small company leading to rapid prototyping and assimilation of knowledge of complex systems, including a full integration and evaluation of mechanical, electronic, and fluidic components. Consulting involved evaluating suppliers, electronic design and business strategy.• Technical direction for a major art exhibit at a museum, with opportunities to try out radical technical solutions and alternative approaches to engineering problems.• Numerous small projects involving business development, safety issues, software and hardware development, each leading to novel approaches and breakthrough solutions.

Stayed at home to raise my daughter, but also engaged in voluntary work for a religious organization, took classes at two universities, and conducted several small software engineering consulting projects.

Worked in startup company as co-producer of Pagemaster game for Turner Broadcasting (now a Time Warner Company), turned around a project months behind schedule, recruiting and directing a team of ninety individuals to deliver working product on time. The project was also one of the first multimedia PC games on the market.As technical lead for multimedia project for Hearst (Country Living Magazine) developed production method and procedures that ensured on time and within budget delivery of a first in class multimedia product. Work involved working closely with client, artists, and technical team to lay down interface design and technical production.Work on other projects involved closely collaborating with management, technical team, and artists to devise unique approaches to problems that were always first in their class and never tried before, each solution involving a unique set of innovations in the face of many unknown technical variables.

Worked in the United Kingdom on teams both large and small, as team member and team leader, learning hands on the intricacies of organizing and delivering complex software projects. Projects involved pioneering technologies using Artificial Intelligence techniques (and Prolog), multimedia products, and real time systems. Mastered new technologies in a matter of days to rapidly develop solutions to complex problems. Clients included the BBC, ITV and Reuters.Worked in the United States at IBM to deliver the multimedia portion of the OS/2 2.0. As software quality assurance team lead my work involved design reviews and feedbackto developers. As a result of my recommendations many changes were made to software design to both simplify and streamline development.

Worked on TAT-8, the first transatlantic optical fiber communication cable, developing electronic design and automated test bed for lasers.
