Rotaract is a student run organization which brings together empathetic individuals and develop their leadership and professional skills. I'm really glad to be a part of their Community Services Department and Human Resource Department. As a Human Resource (HR) member and Community Service member in an NGO, my role is crucial in ensuring the organization's smooth functioning and impactful outreach to the communities it serves. My responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, both internally and externally, with the ultimate goal of promoting the NGO's mission and values. In my capacity as an HR member, I play a central role in managing the NGO's human capital. This involves recruiting and selecting qualified individuals who align with the organization's vision. I create and implement effective hiring processes, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workforce. Moreover, I am responsible for developing and conducting training programs that enhance employees' skills, fostering their personal and professional growth.As a Community Service member, my focus shifts to the NGO's outreach and impact on the communities it serves. We collaborate with various stakeholders, including local leaders, beneficiaries, and partner organizations, to assess the needs of the community and design impactful projects that address those needs. My role involves conducting research, analyzing data, and using your understanding of the community's challenges to propose effective solutions. I also act as a liaison between the NGO and the communities it serves, ensuring transparent communication and building strong relationships based on trust and respect.Overall, as both an HR member and Community Service member, I, along with my team, serve as a bridge between the NGO's internal operations and its external impact. Our efforts help create a dynamic and harmonious work environment within the organization while driving positive change in the lives of the communities we serve.
