Mr. Mohd. Saffuan Abdul Kudus, a Malaysian, received his degree in Chemical Engineering from Polytechnic University, Brooklyn, New York, USA in 1995 (now known as New York University - Tandon School of Engineering). Throughout his career, he involved in various aspects of local and international sales and marketing, business planning, exploration and development, customer-relationship, manufacturing process, product quality and control and R&D activities. With more than 20 years of valuable working experience, Saffuan is currently hold a post as Marketing Manager : Asia Pacific in an international Life Science event management company Global Engage. He was previously a VP of Business Development and S&M in a first Malaysian state-of-the-art cGMP certified global bio-pharmaceutical / biotechnology manufacturing company. He initially joined Inno Biologics in 2006 as a Manager, Sales and Marketing. Among his tasks were to identify, explore and create business relationship and network with potential multi-national and local companies for clinical contract manufacturing and contract research/development business. Later, he created business partnership with international player for tech transfer, process development, clinical development, manufacturing and commercialisation of 4 biosimilar products for ASEAN and Far East market.Saffuan used to be the Quality Control Manager in a Danish owned manufacturing company producing non-woven polypropylene materials for hygienic application mainly for customer Procter & Gamble (P&G) in Europe, China, Middle East and Japan. Prior to that, he was the Chemical Engineer/R&D Engineer in a newly set-up German-Malaysian joint-venture manufacturing company. He attended various technical trainings including polymer blending and textile coating in major and leading multi-national chemical companies in Europe. Saffuan started his career as a Junior Engineer/Process Engineer in Samsung Electron Devices upon completing his study.
