The Speechwriting team's mandate is mainly to research and draft public and private speeches for the Governor and other Governing Council members, as well as to assist in the drafting of major publications such as the Monetary Policy Report.As Communications Specialist, I assist the senior writers on the team (and other stakeholders involved in the speechwriting process) by providing technical expertise for numerous applications used in the drafting and delivery of Governing Council speeches and their associated multi-media accompaniments. This requires liaising with a broad range of executives and subject-matter experts across the organization. Additionally I provide editorial support, research assistance, project management, and general organizational skills to the team.

The System Support and Business Analysis (SSBA) Team provides business analysis and systems support activities contributing to the development, enhancement, and support of systems used in the operations and wholesale debt administration.The team provides analytic, project management, and business/system support to externally driven initiatives (e.g., Canadian Payments Association, Continuous Linked Settlement, Canadian Depository for Securities, and Government of Canada).
