Scott is a member at Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott, LLC and focuses in the areas of construction law, commercial litigation, products liability and appeals. Scott has represented clients in federal and state court as well as in administrative proceedings, arbitration and mediation. Scott’s clients have included contractors, owners and sureties on both public and private construction projects involved in complex construction disputes, including claims for delays, disruptions and acceleration, labor inefficiencies and lost productivity, change orders, and architectural errors and omissions. He has assisted clients in drafting construction contracts and in asserting and defending bond claims and mechanic’s liens. Scott has also represented individual and corporate clients in contract, commercial and business disputes and property damage and products liability cases. Scott is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Washington, D.C., the Federal District Court of Massachusetts and the First and Fourth Circuit Courts of Appeals.
