Founder of Underadar, in short for under the radar.Underadar are the ones yet to be discovered — the dreamers & underdogs. A pursuit of hopes and dreams, met with adversity, powered by resilience.Underadar was founded in 2018. We started as a Clothing Brand; our first T-shirt was released on the 24th of May 2019. The Brand has since evolved and taken a new life of its own.On 1st Jan 2022, we initiated our 'Undiscovered' Series, an e-magazine/e-zine dedicated to introducing and highlighting Nepali Creatives that deserve recognition and promotion. This is when the vision and purpose of the Brand shifted from a Clothing Brand to a Brand. A Brand that lives, breathes and celebrates Art, Creativity, and the Creatives that create magic.On 6th March 2022, we released the first Episode of our Nepali Creatives Docuseries titled 'UNDER THE RADAR'. UTR is a series that dives deeper into topics such as nature/nurture, identity, art, creativity and everything in between to discover their intricate connection.On 1st October 2024, we opened our own Branding Agency, aptly named 'Underadar Studio'. Operating a Branding Agency wasn't in our plan back in 2018, but it was an inevitable result of all those years building a meaningful Brand, getting recognised/approached by other people and businesses requesting us to help build their Brands. It was a very organic process.On 17th Feb 2024, we hosted a small private invite-only event. It was a Storyboarding Workshop. One of our Team Members curated the event and assigned drawing briefs/challenges for the attendees. In the end, each story was as unique as the mix of participants we had on the day. It was a productive event.On 29th March 2024, we hosted another event called 'Drink & Draw'. It was again a private invite-only event. The setting for this event was casual and laid-back. As the name implies, attendees would grab a drink from the bar, nibble on snacks, draw, socialise and interact with other like-minded creatives/non-creatives. It was a fun evening.Finally, on 4th May 2024, we hosted our 1st ever public event titled 'UNPLUGGED sessions'. Our original plan was to host an intimate live music event, but what started as an intimate live music event evolved into Music, Arts, Crafts & more! The 4th was quite strong on that one.So Underadar is now a Brand that provides a Platform for Nepali Creatives, creates Apparel, hosts Events & operates a Branding Agency. For now. Awaiting our next adventure...Underadar — The Undiscovered.
