E.g., Gearboxes, Motor Bodies (Housing), Machined flanges, Traction pulleys & Diverters.• Purchasing of Sheet metal components – Press & Laser cutting parts with Zinc plating, fabricated parts & CNC/VMC machined parts.• Purchasing of Roller bearings & Ball bearings of SKF/NSK/FAG make.• Purchasing of Paints as per RAL code, QD & cleaning thinner, hydraulic oil of various grades for HMC machine.• Purchasing of different Capital items, measuring tools, different types of gauges for QC dept. & tools for production dept. in order to avoid anydelay in production.• Receiving the Purchase Requisition (PR) from various department, processing the same, floating the enquiries, receiving the quotations,preparing the comparison chart for final conclusion for management approval & issuing the Purchase order to the supplier.• Purchasing of C class items – All kinds of fasteners, Cutting tools, Drills, Taps & Inserts for machining for in house production.

The company is involved in surface finishing and surface preparation of components of different industries by using Mass finishing and shot blasting technology.Roles & Responsibilities :-• Responsible for procurement of best quality material/ goods/equipment’s, that meets business needs within the given period of time.• Negotiate with the suppliers after analysing the quotations, on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.• Ability to analyse Bill of material (BOM) & drawings to understand key requirement.• Purchasing of raw materials which includes Mild steel sheets (HR & CR), MS Angles, C channels, I beams, H beams, Square tubes, Rectangular tubes, Flats, Bars, Perforated sheets, Manganese steels, Stainless steel (SS304) sheets & angles.• Purchasing of Sheet metal parts (Laser Cutting), machined parts, punching parts & fabrication assembly.• Purchasing of Compression Springs, Tension Springs for vibratory machines, Ball bearings & Roller bearings of SKF & NTN make.• Purchasing of Elesa Ganter & Darshana make items like U-type handles, Star knobs, Hinges, Toggle clamps, clamping levers, etc.• Purchasing of HDPE sheets, PA sheets, UPVC pipes & fittings like Elbows, Tee, MTA, FTA, Ball valves of Sch 40 & 80.• Cost reduction by carrying out new vendor development for sheet metal operations, raw material & perforated sheets.• Regular vendor visit to streamline the supply of materials, build & maintain healthy relationship with them.
