Responsible for the design, development and production of teaching and learning materials anddelivery across a range of modules within Oil and Gas Management.Ensuring efficient and effective delivery of teaching programmes in line with GSM's education strategiesContributing to student support and to the development and implementation of innovative teaching practices across the College- Responsible for the development, enhancement, preparation and delivery of teaching, learning, assessment and feedback across modules, including student projects, placements and field trips.- Responsible for the development and implementation of innovative practicein teaching, learning, assessment and feedback across modules.- Ensuring that teaching on modules is informed by contemporary research and scholarship.- Setting, marking and moderating of coursework, assignments and examinations.- Undertaking teaching duties consistent with the requirements of the programme.

Responsible for all aspects of the Oil & Gas business information product and the delivery and communication of project/industry information. Supporting EIC members in attaining their business objectives and making The EIC the partner of choice. Member of the Senior Management Team involved in developing the EIC's business plan.Prime Responsibilities- Routine administration and supervision of the Oil & Gas Team including general management of UK and overseas staff daily work.- Product co-owner of the EICDataStream database, responsible for all content and the ongoing development of the database, working closely with the Information Product Development Team.- Manage the process of researching, obtaining and analysing information regarding relevant project intelligence and business opportunities in the global Oil & Gas Market that are relevant to the UK supply chain.- Maintain regular contact with the relevant UK and Global Operators, EPC Contractors and the wider supply chain.- Maintain an understanding of political influences on the oil and gas sector.- Provide necessary country and sector briefings to support the EIC Events Department in promoting overseas exhibitions and trade delegations. Assist with the recruitment of key speakers for conferences and other events. Undertake presentations both internally and externally to the UK supply chain.- Building relationships with other trade associations relevant to Oil & Gas industry.- Monitor and manage department spending and budget targets.Core competencies- Verbal and written communication skills.- Understanding project research and analysis techniques.- Strong people management skills.- Good presentation skills.- Excellent understanding of the Oil & Gas sector.
