• Conducting assessments to evaluate IT products, specifically network devices, in accordance with the Common Criteria Standard (ISO/IEC 15408).
• Conducting the evaluation testing as described above, assessing protocols and standards like SSH, IPsec, and X509 against protection profiles including NDcPP, MOD_IPS.
• Proficient in the application of testing tools like XCA, Wireshark, tcpdump, WinSCP, Scapy, PuTTY, OpenSSL, and OpenSSH to carry out assessments and evaluations.
• Establishing, performing initial configuration, and resolving operational issues in network devices slated for evaluation.
• Conducting a Vulnerability Assessment for the network devices undergoing evaluation by systematically scanning public vulnerability databases like NVD and exploit-db to identify potential security weaknesses.
• Aggregating testing evidence, which includes command screenshots, device logs, and packet capture files, into standardized Common Criteria (CC) documentation.
