As a counselor, I took care of 10-15 elementary aged kids during their week at overnight camp. I made sure that they not only were eating and drinking water, but also that they were happy, healthy, and that they felt valued and appreciated by the counselors, as well as the other campers. I taught the kids daily bible studies and led them through various camp activities.

As a pre-school gymnastics coach, I taught pre-schoolers fundamental gymnastics skills that they needed to learn before beginning more difficult gymnastics skills. I taught the basics of floor, beam, vault, bars, and trampoline.

My job as mentor was to help students that were new to Eastern Michigan University adapt to college life and provide any necessary support and resources they needed.

As a member of the marching band, I attended three rehearsals a week in addition to all home football games and bowl games. I memorized music and drill, working effectively with others to have a great performance.

As a volunteer member of the pep-band, I performed at all home basketball games in support of both themen’s andwomen’s teams.
