As a licensed occupational therapist and a recent graduate from Gannon University, I am passionate about providing quality care for pediatric patients with physical, sensory, and intellectual disabilities and delays. I have completed my thesis on how occupational therapy impacts the quality of life for families with a child with sensory processing difficulties, and I have presented my findings at a local conference. I have gained valuable clinical experience in both the acute care and inpatient rehabilitation setting and the pediatric outpatient setting, where I evaluated and treated a full caseload of patients, collaborated with interdisciplinary teams, and documented treatment sessions and outcomes. I have developed strong interpersonal communication, clinical reasoning, and intervention planning skills, as well as a deep understanding of the rules and regulations of different healthcare settings. I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills to a challenging and rewarding position working with the pediatric population.
