Green Mountain Psychology, PLLC is focused on providing psychological services to LGBTQIA+ adolescents and emerging adults. The primary focus is on serving the transgender/gender diverse population in Washington state. During the pandemic, services are provided through telehealth.

I work primarily with the LGBTQIA+ adolescent and emerging adult/college population in the area. I provide individual psychotherapy for people ages 14 to 29.

Dr. Willis completed their PhD in clinical psychology at Seattle Pacific University, and also holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where they studied psychiatric neuroscience. Prior to joining SPA, they worked at the university counseling centers at Western Washington University, University of Washington’s Tacoma Campus, and Washington State University. At these sites, they treated young to middle adults presenting with a variety of concerns, including but not limited to, depression, anxiety, relational concerns, trauma, anger, grief, and identity development. Dr. Willis’ primary focus is working with LGBTQ+ individuals, with a particular emphasis on working with the transgender and gender non-conforming (trans*) community. In their work with trans* clients, Dr. Willis has experience providing individual and group therapy, as well as previously serving as the WSU counseling center liaison for the Gender Identity and Expression and Sexual Orientation Resource Center (GIESORC) at WSU. Dr. Willis’ dissertation likewise focused on LGBTQ+ identity development and its intersectionality with spiritual or religious factors. Dr. Willis works with adults, primarily in an interpersonal process therapy framework while also drawing from Gestalt and Emotion Focused approaches.
