I am an energetic, ambitious student in the Florida State University Honors Program. I will graduate with a BS in Risk Management/Insurance, a second BS in Marketing, and a minor in Business Analytics.I am passionate about insurance, risk management, business continuity, and the psychology behind market and consumer behavior. Through my internship at Will Rentschler State Farm Insurance Agency, I learned more about selling, problem solving, business growth, email and phone marketing, and communication. In my past experience, I have worked part-time jobs as a barista, a hostess, a retailer, and a referee. Through these roles, I have learned time management, organization, and social skills.In addition, I am very actively involved on campus. I work as I am the Sergeant of Arms for Kappa Delta. I instruct over 100 women in preparing for events, and I am in charge of organizing and scheduling weekly meetings. I am also in charge of initiation events, communication with new members, and tracking of chapter points. This has honed my problem-solving and organizational skills and has allowed me to develop strong written and communication skills. Moreover, I am a student member of the CPCU Society, Gamma Iota Sigma Honor Club, Women in Business, Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society, and Phi Kappa Phi. Through these entities, I have expanded my knowledge of various aspects of the business world and acquired skills in communication. I am eager to learn in new environments and adapt to new people and experiences very well. I am skilled in communication skills, problem-solving, and situational analysis. Therefore, I am seeking risk management, business continuity, appraising, marketing and/or insurance internships in the areas of either Tallahassee or Pensacola, Florida.
