• Performed sample preparation and potency analysis on a Waters Acquity HPLC-MS, as well as pesticide prep and analysis on a Waters Xevo TQ-XS. • Performed in-depth maintenance of a Waters Acquity HPLC-MS including the replacement of columns, guards, needles, solvent pumps, as well as trouble shooting the injection system for carryover. • Performed source maintenance and cleaning on a Waters Xevo TQ-XS. • Assisted in developing an FET Residual Solvents method on an Agilent 7890B GC-FID for 38 residual solvents in 16 minutes as well as a shorter confirmation method for several co-eluting compounds. • Assisted in developing an FET Terpenes method on the same instrument for 21 terpenes. • Developed extraction techniques for potency and terpenes that yielded more accurate and reproducible results that what was previously in use. • Assisted in a large overhaul of the Quality Manual and several SOPs including those for Potency, Pesticide, Residual Solvent, and Terpene analysis. • Produced a series of documents to implement and enforce QC checks throughout the entire analytical process as well as a Reporting document to produce “For compliance” COAs. • Participated in two Residual Solvents and two Pesticide PT studies. • Assisted in the acquisition and presentation of data required for ORELAP Pesticides accreditation including an LOQ study and accuracy and precision tests. • Participated in an ORELAP accreditation audit for Pesticides. • Extensive familiarization and implementation of the TNI 2016 and OHA Chapter 333 Division 7 ruleset into the entire workflow of the lab. • Improved QA and QC documentation in nearly every station of the lab to ensure auditability of the analytical process including material and solvent logs, maintenance logs, and timestamping on internal forms. • Performed preharvest hemp and OLCC marijuana sampling for compliance.
