In my role as a Reception & Placement Case Manager, I work directly with refugees for the first 90 days upon their arrival in the U.S. I am deeply committed to advocating for these individuals and families so that they receive the services and resources that they need. Provided trusted expertise to 9 major auto insurance carriers on best practices to drive product adoption and increased usage.Subject matter expert in CCC products, Industry Trends, Artificial Intelligence Innovation, Workflow Solutions, and Technical Support matters. In my position at Powered by Purple Ink, I ensured that all of the operational needs of the organization were met. Specifically, I managed the onboarding of new members, scheduled trainings, supported marketing, created member circles and communicated with the network, and contributed to strategic planning and business development/sales.In addition to my role at Powered by Purple Ink, I also assisted with the operational needs of Purple Ink, an HR consulting firm.

Recruited individuals to fill executive board positions, provided ongoing training and support, coordinated weekly staff meetings, communicated with the national office to ensure our chapter met national standards, oversaw all logistics and operational needs to maintain a successful organization.

Mentored underrepresented students between the ages of 8-10 years to expose them to college culture and instill a sense of life-long learning and encourage an interest in pursuing a college education. Managed and lead activities on a weekly basis including lab experiments on DePauw’s campus, community service projects in the local community, and invited guest speakers such as international students to talk about their cultures.

Assisted with the management of a Spanish language and culture program geared towards children between the ages of 8-10 years. Introduced children to the basic concepts of the Spanish language, and created fun and engaging activities to enhance learning and increase language skills.

Evaluated family cases and assisted in the placement of foster care children to qualified families in the local community. Conducted home visits to ensure safety and wellbeing of children after placement. Provided Spanish translation for both the organization and families. Completed behavioral management training to increase awareness when difficult behaviors and scenarios presented themselves amongst children and families. Completed case notes to track success and improvements of children’s personal development, and discussed information with supervisor to modify strategies with families.

Built a successful mentoring relationship with an 8-year-old girl. Participated in various activities with her and provided emotional, behavioral, and cognitive support.

Managed the check-in and check-out process for all incoming and outgoing guests, and provided excellent customer service throughout the process. Assisted management with completing invoices and resolved customer complaints in a timely and efficient manner.

Facilitated and managed daily practice schedule for camp participants, and promoted the program in local community. Managed and instructed daily practices in collaboration with head coach. Worked with families to gauge skill levels of participants to determine appropriate placement within the camp. Addressed questions and concerns from families and provided appropriate support and solutions.
