Designed an ed-tech web app to teach Smartfonts, Microsoft Research’s tool which facilitates reading digital content using static and dynamic colorful “21st Century fonts” which are highly distinguishable and accessible in comparison to familiar fonts. Used scrum/agile development in a startup-like environment.I focused on working as a front end developer to design and create a React.js web application from the ground up. I collaborated with my team to scope, design, and implement games that involved timing, scoring, and telemetry collection. I championed researching and implementing responsive web design, working closely with our designer to ensure that styles were clean and consistent across our product.

During this internship I worked in both the Software Development (2/3 of the time) and Program Management (1/3 of the time) roles on the O365 Admin Center Team. I worked with others on my team to design and implement a platform that allows developers to easily enable "remembering customer choice" on elements across the Admin Center. As a PM, I detailed and documented the scope and requirements of the feature, in addition to designing a flighted experiment and metrics to measure the success and business value of our work, in order to save time and clicks for users while they perform day to day repetitive tasks.As a Developer I worked on both the front and back end of the Admin Center to create a platform and API for remembering user preferences in a compliant manner. I used this tool to enable our feature for many elements across the website, and these changes were used by over 400,00 Admin Center customers in the first 5 days. This feature will collectively save hundreds of thousands of clicks for the roughly one million customers who are active weekly.
