Deliver differentiated math lessons to 6-8th grade students using the Beyond Textbooks framework in addressing the required AZ standards. Maintain a homeroom class.

Maintained one eighth-grade homeroom section, taught one section of 8th-grade math following the Saxon Math Course 3 curriculum and taught two sections of CPO Science-Physical and Life Science. Assisted with the school’s first Science Fair (held virtually this year). Tutored groups of my math students (2-4) after school.

Taught science curriculum using Alef, an online learning platform. Monitored and analyzed student data, designed differentiated lessons and projects for ELL students, co-taught with combined sections (up to 60 students), led Grade 7 and Science departments, and co-coordinated Science & Innovation Fairs.

*I was also employed with this school from August 2007-August 2008.Wrote lesson plans as a homeroom or dual-subject teacher for 2nd, 4th, or 5th grade students, completed STEM and environmental grant applications plus follow-up work, initiated and coordinated Elementary Science Fair (K-5), wrote weekly newsletters, established EOY overnight field trip to Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center for 5th grade, created differentiated learning groups from MAP/NWEA & baseline assessments, and provided Homework/Project Help sessions.
