I am a highly motivated ‘Chemist’ with a proven track record in interdisciplinary research at the interface of Chemistry, Materials Science, and Biomedical engineering. I was awarded a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from NIT Calicut, India in 2021. I worked on polymer-based fibrous membrane scaffolds for biomedical applications. From 2021 to 2022, as a post-doctoral researcher at the Cell and Tissue Engineering Laboratory, IIT Bombay India, I worked on DNA non-viral vectors, ionic liquids, and drug solubilization. Later, I took an R and D role at Hexlattice Materials Pvt. Ltd., a graphene-based start-up company in India. I have published 13 peer-reviewed papers and have participated in conferences, workshops, and public engagement activities. I have a good understanding of the basic principles of physical, organic, and analytical Chemistry and 8 years of experience in R&D labs. I have gained skills in using many standard analytical instruments, scientific analytical software, and oral and written skills in scientific English. I have good experience in spectroscopic techniques (FT-IR, UV-Visible, Raman), NMR, TGA, DSC, titrations, pH measurements, dissolutions, chromatographic techniques, elemental analysis (EDS, XPS), morphology characterizations (SEM, TEM, AFM), mechanical characterizations (UTM), particle size analysis (XRD, DLS, NTA), and physical characteristics evaluation of materials. I will be able to organize tasks and plan work to consistently achieve outputs of high-quality results promptly, following standard analytical methods and operating procedures. I have proven capabilities in designing and planning experiments, problem-solving, and delivering innovative solutions to technical challenges. I have a high ability to interpret analytical characterization results and am highly confident in providing the required recommendations and solutions. I can work collaboratively within a team environment. I have good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Also, I can effectively collaborate with colleagues at all levels and provide effective guidance to the team. I am highly enthusiastic about working in a laboratory-based role, I am always flexible to learn new techniques and am a fast learner. I am highly confident that, utilizing my scientific, technical, and soft skills in Chemistry and Materials Science, I will be able to effectively work in an analytical chemistry-based R&D role and look forward to bringing my skills to an enthusiastic team and playing a key R&D role in contributing to the success and growth of the organization.
