The focus of my work is on the topics of:Profiling and psychology of terrorism, Radicalisation and Deradicalisation processes, Terrorist Risk Assessment and the Arab Israeli conflict. This work has implications for many disciplines including penology, criminology, psychology and political and social science. My work involves years of interviewing the leaders of major terrorist organisations in Israeli prisons as well as other Jewish and Palestinian terrorists. Currently, I'm teaching the subject of Profiling and the Psychology of Terrorism at King's College London and different aspects of criminology and terrorism studies at the University of East London as well as back in Israel, at the Hebrew university and the Interdisciplinary center in Herzliya (IDC). I'm also doing consultancy work and giving lectures and training for security and intelligence companies. I seek to broaden the context of my work by sharing my knowledge and working closely with professionals in this field from other countries as well as to contribute to the field of counter terrorism by varied professional capacities such as: a profiler, an analyst, an adviser, a risk assessor, or researcher.
