Continued work on VLOAM aerial payload development.Worked on electronic integration, and mechanical testing, and ensured payload passed a stringent flight-worthiness review conducted by the NRC Flight Research Laboratory.Designed, manufactured and tested a vibration isolation mount designed to dampen vibrations from the Bell 412 Aircraft.

Worked on the Memorial University Intelligent Systems Laboratory - National Research Council Collaborative project; Multi-Sensor Odometry with Deep Learning-based Map Building and Mode Adaptation for Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) Vehicles.Designed, fabricated and tested a sensor payload, designed to be integrated onto the NRC Bell 412 Advanced Systems Research Aircraft. The payload will be used to develop a navigation module utilizing visual LiDAR odometry, and mapping (VLOAM) tasked with enhancing autonomous capabilities of VTOL aircraft.

Aerodynamics, and structural design lead for two UAV development programs.Designed, manufactured and tested a mid-range fixed-wing UAV for use in the Sri Lankan Navy. Lead the development of a second, short-range UAV intended to be used as a test platform for the guided missile development program.
