I’m responsible for the overall function and management of the Autonomation department at MAS Active Linea Intimo. Responsible for proving leadership and guidance for five Autonomation Engineers o Successfully commercially a vertical storage and retrieval system to enable smooth function of the Yarn process. first ever commercialization in MAS. Guiding and motivating the team to develop inhouse Autonomation solutionsDive the research and innovation teams based in the plants whilst also providing regular guidance and supervision for all autonomation and innovation-based projects in order to achieve SBU/ organization objectivesResponsible for working in collaboration with the SBU and central autonomation teams whilst maintaining relationships with all parties involved in the respective projects in order to facilitate knowledge sharing o Identification of autonomation opportunities for the core and long running products in the plant and develop suitable autonomation methods that contribute to increased efficiencies for SBU and organization Providing innovative solutions via autonomation to resolve complex style specific production and operational challenges thereby contributing to operational excellence Engaging in knowledge sharing, gain exposure and awareness on global and local industry-wise trends and developments to improve product and process efficiencies within the respective SBUs Working closely with the team so as to motivate the team, identify performance gaps, develop skills and focus on career progression and succession planning to meet current and future challenges

Presentation and preparation of KPI reports for the top management on a weekly basis o Facilitating business opportunities/managing & maintaining relationships with potential/existing customers Responsible for maintaining the Corporate identity of the company within the community eventsDirecting and leading a 3 member team on daily basis o Co-ordination/planning alongside the other SBU’s on selected Key Accounts Taking the led initiative on company special projects

Liaising with Banks & Treasury/working capital management. Reviewing of system of internal controls and recommending changes to the system. Monitoring of debtors and vendor management including monitoring of supplier payments and imported tea purchases. Processing sales orders in MS Navision for Shums customers, and following up / troubleshooting to ensure timely delivery of customer orders from Colombo. Processing purchase orders in Navision for Shamus customers, and following up / troubleshooting to ensure tea and materials are delivered in good time with correct specifications, Monitoring purchase and sales prices and checking customer margins. Liaising with banks on determining the best rate negotiation for supplier payments and responsible for arriving at the best rate that is favorable to the company and acting as the key coordinator between the company and the bank. Generating & checking management reports for UK Head Quarters: customer performance, customer profitability, product performance etc. o Dealing directly with material suppliers in UK, Colombo, Germany and UAE. Dealing directly with customers in the UAE region. Preparation of reconciliations on Cash & Bank, Fixed Assets, Debtors, Inventory and Creditor balances to evaluate the accuracy of the balance stated as per the General ledger system. Verification and Valuation of stock balances. Verification of the debtor balances using debtor age analysis, and subsequent checking of the settlements. o Responsible for carrying out analytical review procedures using out ration analysis, variance analysis and other geographical presentations.

Key ResponsibilitiesProviding MI reports to the main Corporate Partners of Aviva General Insurance such as HSBC, Barclays, and ASDA on a timely and accurate manner, supporting them on their management decision process and providing valuable insights on their performance. Leading the UKGI M&I Corporate Partners (CP) and Intermediary Business (IB) team in Sri Lanka and was appointed as the central point of contact for any CP& IB related issues and was also responsible for managing the eight members of the CP& IB team. Traveled to UK on two occasions on secondment for new business migration and to obtain further training and exposure to the business and its main stakeholders. Member of the Process Improvement Taskforce (PIT), an internal group responsible for developing innovative techniques to improve team performance using technical knowledge and various IT tools. Direct communication with senior staff of overseas clients.Allocation of processes to enhance the effectiveness of the team, to review and check for accuracy of the Management Information reports prepared by CP and IB team Acted as the Single Point of Contact of ISO Compliances within the team, providing training sessions on ISO requirements and creating the awareness within the team. Preparing the entire team for annual audits both internal and external. o

Key Responsibilities, Auditing and reconciliation of Financial Statements of a highly reputed commercial bank. Understanding and checking internal control systems such as Debtor Control System, etc. Responsible for handling year-end cash counts and conducting compliance audit to check o accuracy of the Bank’s systems.Performed verification on significant accounts, many mechanisms used such as vouching, variance analysis and physical verification. Responsible for carrying out stock counts on financial year end, this was done at various client locations.Preparation of Reconciliation of balances, Fixed Asset, Debtors and Inventory balances were verified against the General Ledger.
