The IEEE Student Branch of SLTC Research University serves as a platform through which SLTC undergraduates can hone their skills in order to grow into industry standard professionals. The IEEE Industrial Electronics Society Student Branch Chapter of SLTC Research University is one of the main technical chapters of the SLTC IEEE Student Branch. The IEEE IES focuses mainly on the provision and dissemination of technical knowledge in the industrial application of Electronics and technology. The chapter aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry by organizing various technical events, workshops and seminars, while also providing its undergraduates with networking opportunities to allow them to find success in their chosen careers.
