Everyone gets a chance in life as long as they search and try. I consider myself one of the rare people who still have a dream after the age of 35, and I'm still chasing it. I'm Sahar Eletreby, an Egyptian filmmaker who lives in 2 cities. Between Cairo and Istanbul I mixed up a unique character of myself, with similarities and differences between 2 nations I learned how to build more flexibility and bring a different perspective through my camera lens. As an ambitious woman filmmaker, I like to bring culture into the art I'm professional at, talk about it, and give value to other cultures and light on the differences between all of us, to bring us closer, by understanding our different prospects, goals and dreams. I have changed my career to pursue my passion: making films and TV shows that entertain and reflect on many extraordinary people who think they are ordinary. With your help to fine-reform my writing, I'm sure that dream can come true.I made my first short in 2016 (A Paper), followed by short, and feature films and TV series as a first Assistant Director. Sonsuz Uzay was my graduation project in Cinema studies, which has been in many festivals and nominated for awards. I have written many short films and also I have written a feature called (Aşk ile Pendemi), which is a Turkish film project, along with my new mini-series (Istanbul 15:15), the nearest project to my heart.
