I lead Strategy, Operations, Customer Relations and Product Roadmap and Management. At CloudMedx, we’ve built a Unified Data Platform with APIs and AI applications on top of it to improve clinical, operational and financial outcomes. We work with some of the most progressive health systems and health plans in the country including Elevance Health, Kaiser Permanente, UCSF, Mount Sinai and more. The products we've launched include an enterprise AI data platform serving 40 million members and a consumer engagement tool for 53 million Medicare beneficiaries.I am proud of building a world-class team of experts in machine learning, engineering and medicine. As a highly effective and nimble team, we’ve built and launched award-winning products - including LLM based innovative solutions. Some awards for the company include: CISCO Global Innovator Challenge Top Six Award in 2016, Exponential Medicine MEDy Award in 2018, and GITEX Most Connected Healthcare Award in 2019, API Award for Best in Health 2021. Based on our work, I've also personally been recognized with multiple awards including Data Leader of the year, Entreprenuer of the year, Top 25 women in consumer health-tech among others.CloudMedx has a nationwide footprint in 2 countries, been recognized as a global leader in healthcare AI and our AI algorithms are validated as evident by white papers published by physicians. We developed a new loss function to address the extreme class imbalance that we found to prevail in most medical data called Segmented Harmonic Loss. We also devised a technique based on embedding similarity to tackle noisy data. Our experimental results show that when trained with the proposed loss, the LLMs achieve significant performance gains even on noisy long-tailed datasets, outperforming the F1-score of the state-of-the-art by over 10% points. Led the successful development and delivery of a province-wide MS SharePoint web application targeting the reduction of disability-related absenteeism and fraud prevention, addressing an annual $16 billion economic cost. The health portal facilitated seamless data management, advanced analytics, and collaboration among multiple stakeholders from multiple disciplines. Resulted in transformative evidence-backed decision-making processes and contributing significantly to improved patient outcomes, cost-effectiveness, and policy formulation.
