Was involved and responsible for design, implementation and improvement of plant process systems (specifically for fermentation processes and bio refineries at an existing integrated newsprint mill): • Design of manufacturing processes and equipment e.g.: drying, extraction, filtration, fermentation, separation, purification, chemical modification, etc.• Design and implementation of bench, pilot, demonstration and commercial scales• Perform mass and energy balances for processes.• Development of new material, products processes• Cost estimation, modelling and optimization• Processes simulation and optimization• Team work with industrial partners on the design of lignin based biorefineries in the forestry sectors
