August 2014 – till date (1 years)• Planning and coordinate QA/QC activities, making certain of quality control of the work in accordance to contract requirements.• Responsibility to supervise the activities of the quality service providers and inspectors to ensure diligent performance.• Control and the distribution of all the company quality documentation.• Monitor all quality related activities on the project.• Attend all pre-bid/ kick-off meetings and coordinate all project requirements.• Attend client quality management meetings.• The preparation and control of project quality management documentation prior to project commencement.• Review quality inspection personnel qualifications and training requirements.• Monitor the disposition of all issued non-conformance reports.• Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system. Recommend and implement improvements when required.• Coordinate all quality related correspondence with the customer’s representatives.• Monitor statistical method reporting.• Verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards.• Monitor the implementation of the approved site Quality Control Plans.• Coordinate with the site senior project manager on all quality issues. Coordinate and chair the QA/QC site daily meetings with the projects subcontractors QC personnel etc.• Ensuring all inspection equipment is up to date and calibrated within calibration intervals.

1 ) The drawing up of mechanical and welding QCP’s according to the clientsrequirements and Contract Welding specifications.2 ) Inspections and inspection reports or punch lists on all mechanical work andwelding performed. Weekly inspection reports to management and client.3 ) Compiling of data books for all work done, handover to client viaHandover certificates.4) To ensure all data is recorded correctly and is ready to be handed over to client.5 ) The Drawing up of redlines and as-built as they were constructed to a re-rout due to improvements.6) Checking of incoming material in accordance with the drawings / Specifications/ WPS/ PQR’s/ QCP’s/ Client requirements etc.7) Ensuring WPS’s have been approved and are available to welder and weldinginspectors8) Check that welding equipment is in suitable condition and calibrated as appropriate9) Check the welding jobs preparation such fit up inspection/ pre-heating/ weld preparations etc. as stipulated in drawings / Specifications/ WPS/ PQR’s/ QCP’s etc10) Check the validity of welders and their identification that qualified for each WPSto be used.11) Check that welding consumables are stored and controlled as specified by theWPS technical data sheet or client specification procedures.12) Tack welds are to good workmanship standard and to Code/ WPS or specification.13) Ensure weld faces are free from defects, contamination and damage.14) Ensure that min temperature of preheat is in accordance with WPS if required. 15) To be present during the non-destructive testing as per Line, Vessel etc requirements. 16) Performing of high level dimensional inspections .
