I am experienced in leading strategic research, innovation, and technical business support that accelerate the deployment of feeding solutions to improve livestock productivity and sustainability.My life-long mission is to have a global impact by creating and implementing sustainability-oriented innovations for low-emission livestock development and enhancing the climate resilience of agri-food systems. I also aim to improve the quality and safety of animal-derived foods for consumer satisfaction and human health. I have a strong background in animal nutrition and health, and sustainable agriculture, and I hold a double PhD in Agricultural Transformation by Innovation from the Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctorate Program. I have also completed an Executive Education Program in Business Sustainability Management from the University of Cambridge.I am a crucial member of the global expert working groups on circular bioeconomy and methane at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), where I help revise and improve the metrics and guidance for assessing and mitigating the environmental impact of livestock.
