Passionate about everything social in nature. I am a social researcher who has worked mainly in academia with a few volunteering and internship experiences at NGOs in the country. These experiences have made me realize that research is something I look forward to do be it in traditional educational spaces or not-so-traditional ones. Equipped with the sociological lens to discern compressing issues from both micro and macro-institutional perspectives I employ my research skills to comprehend the grand scheme of things into simpler digestible chunks. I am a qualitative researcher and have experience in extensive literature reviews, transcription, and conducting and analyzing focus-group discussions, and interviews across different groups of people with a flair for developing thematic analysis and putting it into comprehensible reports. My expertise lies in qualitative methodologies but I have a primary understanding of quantitative methods and tools and could analyze and visualize data with tools like Excel and R. It is something that I look forward to honing as I believe in today's time data drives everything and having a way with it will definitely complement my qualitative skills.In the past, I have worked on projects ranging from analyzing historical ideas of masculinity in the colonial discourse to seeking ways to comprehend how school education has been disrupted in government-aided schools in the country during the pandemic. I am currently working on a project on gender and mobility that analyses women's mobility patterns across Delhi and how it can be enhanced assuring them both safety and comfort. Apart from working in institutions I also individually collaborate with academics to take part in their research projects which include analysing educational policies in the country and the introduction of technology in classroom spaces. As mentioned above my research interests include gender and education, however, I am open to exploring other arenas like technology, digital media networks, and childhood and youth.
