• Responsible for assisting the Area Manager in the daily running of the production area and all personnel within my area of control• Follow SOPs, manuals and core procedures • Carrying out regular quality checks on produced goods and reporting on findings • Managing staff levels and arranging agency staff• Working in line with requirements of quality, health and safety, and environmental management systems• Maintaining tools and equipment, including cleaning and safe storage• Ensuring all health and safety guidelines are followed • Set staff KPIs and targets• Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth running of shift

• Prepare all tools and machinery for the following shift• Making sure all tools and machinery are functioning correctly• Monitoring and maintenance of all equipment• Carrying out checks of paperwork and labelling equipment • Repairing tools in workshop • Testing all equipment ready for the shift ahead• Identifying potential risks before problems arise
