In addition, the following tasks:•Manage a test lab with 16 direct reports, task management, resource management, time sheet validation and overall team performance;•Deliver clear and concise direction for all members of the team, and provide training and employee development to team members, set group goals and evaluation of group performance against set goals;•Full-functional testing of software releases (Interactive side) related to Set-Top-Box functionality; •Accountable for testing software, applications, games, video-on-demand, and other content before being released to the customer;•Track tasks in progress to ensure tasks are completed on schedule;•Provide feedback to management to identify issues that may cause delays in release schedules;•Provide feedback to team members to maintain positive morale and encourage team building;•Detect conflicts and react appropriately to diffuse those occurrences with minimal impact to the organization; •Adhere to Corporate/ETC policies, which may include Employee Consultations and the escalation of issues through the Management chain, to include HR for guidance;•Work with other Supervisors and Managers to meet the Departments goals and objectives;•Apply advanced skills, and adapt procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment, as appropriate to an area of specialization; as well as hiring of qualified candidates for the department. Responsibilities included providing training sessions for individual teams, conducting coaching clinics, and being available for coaches to contact with specific questions; attended games on Saturdays to evaluate players and interact with coaches to help give insight to the game of soccer; Head Coach U11 & U12 Boys Competitive Age Group from Spring 2003 to Summer 2005; Staff Coach for Competitive and Developmental Soccer Camps.
