Job 1 - Acute Internal Medicine: Dealing with Patients as soon as they arrive into hospital and are admitted under the medical team. As the medical senior house office I am responsible for clerking patients in to hospital and am part of the team that is responsible as they are an inpatient. I am also a part of the cardiac arrest team.

Foundation Year 1:Job 1: Otolaryngology at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. As a tertiary centre, the department here is renowned for the management of Head and Neck Cancer. As part of the team I became proficient at nasal endoscopy, abscess drainage alongside other basic surgical techniques. Job 2: Medical Oncology at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. This is a large department covering four wards. All the patients are highly complex, on varying chemotherapy, radiotherapy and immunotherapy regimes. As a junior member of the team it was my responsibility to care for any acutely unwell patients.Job 3: Diabetes and Endocrinology with General Medical On Calls. This is a large department in which we handle patients with complex endocrinology issues such as Diabetic Keto-acidosis, Hypoglycemic Hyperosmolar State and Addisonian Crisis's.

Student Lead under Dr Gaddam, attending cardiologist at Jackson Park Hospital Chicago. As student lead I would lead cardiology rounds and be first port of call for cardiology referrals from other departments in the hospital.
