Growing up, if I wasn’t at school I was always keen to help my Dad in his numerous labouring jobs within the construction industry, whether it be Bricklaying, Skimming, Carpentry, Landscaping, Digging etc. This experience helped me develop an ambition to work within the Construction Industry in larger scale projects, after doing my own research I realised that the most suitable path for me to achieve this goal is to study Construction Engineering Management at Loughborough University, which is not only a top University in this field but is a University that suits me as a person very well and is a University that I love. Although I have only mentioned my experience in the Construction Industry, I have also worked many Part- Time jobs, particularly in the hospitality sector, giving me many important skills which relates to my ambition of wanting to be a Project Manager, such as Communication, Leadership, Working in a team and most importantly Health and Safety.
