Sahil Sameer has pursued his MBA degree from the Indian Institute of Management Indore and B.Tech in Electronics and Communication from Govt. Model Engineering College Kochi. Throughout his college days, he displayed strong leadership skills and initiated several noteworthy projects.Currently he is involved with Opengrad Foundation, a non-governmental organization he co-founded alongside his colleagues from IIM Indore and his undergraduate institution. The foundation's primary goal is to promote equal access to Indian competitive examinations, regardless of an individual's socioeconomic background.He has held roles of Assistant Manager at Samsung, building upon his previous experience as a product manager at Optum, a renowned Fortune 5 company.In 2018, he has demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit by co-founding Keralarescue.in during the Kerala floods. This initiative garnered immense appreciation and was eventually adopted by the Government of Kerala as the official portal for rescue and rehabilitation activities. His efforts were acknowledged by esteemed individuals, including the Global SIGHT Chair, HAC chair, and the IT Secretary of the state, who presented him with an award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the project's success.In 2019, he was honored with the esteemed Larry K Wilson Asia and Pacific Outstanding Student Volunteer Award for his significant contributions to the student community.At IIM Indore, He actively engaged in various student communities and played a crucial role as the senior member of the Product Management Club at IIM Indore. Additionally, he was an active member of the ShARE community at the college. Sahil's entrepreneurial spirit led him to develop the official campus application for the institute, facilitating seamless collaboration among students, administrators, and faculties.During his time as an undergraduate student, he actively participated in various student communities. He assumed leadership roles as a member of the Student Leadership team of IEEE Kerala Section, overseeing over 35 engineering colleges.
