• Collaborating with buy-side clients on implementing performance, attribution, risk and back-testing solutions • Planning monthly team initiatives and meetings to identify, and address, growth opportunities and potential threats • Helping clients understand FactSet’s various methodologies and troubleshooting client queries across a broad set of products, including: fundamentals, estimates, performance, risk, etc. • Working with portfolio managers/research analysts to develop FactSet based financial models in Microsoft Excel and integrating APIs for use in MATLAB, R and other statistical packages • Demonstrating product functionality to prospective users and identifying opportunities for cross selling • Aiming to increase client usage through regular contact, on-going support and product updates • Being responsible for training over 100 users, ranging from hedge funds to large institutional investors • Mentoring and training junior consultants on client questioning skills, relationship management and the FactSet system

• Worked with senior members of the research team to help write MATLAB functions to be used for back-testing trading models • Wrote regular market updates and researched currency hedging approaches for CEO • Updated weekly hedge fund returns and estimates for Fulcrum’s Fund of Funds • Helped the trading desk with trade reconciliation, booking and updating commission tables • Attended daily risk and fund update meetings • Created VBA functions to automate database updates, import databases to trading systems and efficiently analyse dataInternship• Worked with equity portfolio managers to automate web-based population of company information templates • Gained an understanding of hedge fund replication techniques, including the pros and cons of each of the major approaches
