DC Advisory (Daiwa Corporate Advisory) is the investment banking arm of Japan's second largest securities group, Daiwa Securities. During my tenure, I was instrumental in closure of three transactions:- May'21: Sale of Smokescreen Technologies, a cybersecurity SaaS platform, to ZScaler in May'21- Nov'21: Buyout of GS Lab, a leading IT services players, by Kedaara Capital ($100mn+ deal)- Jul'22: $26mn fundraise of Signzy, a high growth Fintech SaaS business, from Gaja Capital and others

Role: Capital Raising, M&A (strategic acquisitions globally), Investor Relations and Corporate StrategyWorked on:- $500 Mn equity capital raise in Mar'20, led preparation of collateral and closure of due diligence- Spearheaded cost reduction initiative during COVID-19, leading to $360mn+ annualized cash savings- Led acquisition of TUI Holiday Homes, making OYO the world's second largest vacation rental player

Role: Structuring of domestic and cross-border M&A and Capital Raising transactions; Advisory to listed companies on corporate actions like Buyback, Capital Reduction, Group restructuring, etc.

Started Invest-XP.in as a passion project. InvestXP was an online media platform, created with the objective of simplifying the dynamics of finance and investment for masses. The website added 200+ research articles, got 1 Mn+ views, got followed by 5k+ people on social media, and collaborated with 10+ columnists. Website was not updated after Mar 2019.
