Summer Research Internship (SHRISHTI 2023) on Stochastic Thermodynamics under Dr. Uttam Singh and Dr Siddhartha Das , Centre for Quantum Science and Technology, IIIT-Hyderabad, India. The project involved studying the newly developed field of Stochastic thermodynamics.Understanding and studying the proofs of detailed and integral fluctuation theorem, Jarzynski equality and studying how time reversal symmetry plays a role in them. Read review papers on Stochastic Thermodynamics.Understanding how Stochastic Thermodynamics can be applied to the study of Active Matter Develop and get accustomed to different Mathematical tools such as stochastic differential equations and various important stochastic processes especially Ornstein Uhlenbeck process.

Summer research project titled “Thermodynamics of Information” was carried out under the guidance of Dr Ramandeep Singh Johal, Professor, Department of Physical Sciences, IISER Mohali The project involved thoroughly understanding Landauer’s solution to Maxwell’s Demon and various other approaches and investigating the link between Information and Entropy. Was first introduced to information theory and basics of quantum information theory.
