- Managed Drexel Wireless Systems Lab (DWSL) to ensure the lab is run optimally in terms of lab safety compliance, student hiring, project management, business development, and research continuity. The lab consists of 10 graduate students and 22 undergraduate students working on various research projects. I completed my tasks while also working on my own research projects towards my MS degree (see Projects under Graduate Research Fellow).- Designed in-house programs/applications for data management and reporting.- Identified federal and corporate grant funding opportunities that align with DWSL’s research focus and coordinated with faculty and staff to prepare and submit the proposal package to the sponsoring agency. During this position, I prepared and submitted a total of 44 proposals, where just over $7.3M funding was awarded to the lab for numerous 2-5-year long projects. - As a part of a 3-person team, built and maintained 2 servers and 20 computers for research projects. Wrote custom programs for wireless security measurement and data analysis. - Monitored and administered access control and badging of 32+ personnel (and additional temporary staff as needed) into a secure lab space containing expensive capital infrastructure worth over $10M. Closely interacted with College-level personnel to audit lab access control and to ensure information security policies are followed for stored data and data in motion. Coordinated handling and secure flow of confidential data (e.g. salary information) within the department and the institution. - Managed infrastructure improvements, procurement and setup of new computers and other equipment.

- Prepared and independently ran multiple undergraduate and graduate level courses including Computer Architecture, Operating Systems, Microcontrollers, Wireless Network Security, and Computation Lab. - Designed and ran 2 experimental sections with a total of 60 students in 2012-2013 academic year for designing the new Computation Lab sequence to teach students how to use MATLAB. Under this project, reported findings and student feedback to higher ranked faculty for future switch plans.

- Assisted instructors in teaching Computation Lab, a 1100-student course offered every term, which requires students to use Maple.- Helped students with their questions during the 2-hour lab period and graded their work at the end of the lab.

- Designed and developed three (3) different VB .NET & ASP .NET applications relying on SQL databases, that enabled agents to enter inspection data, review architectural plans, and fill out reports while they're in the field without a network connection. Each application featured session-based pages populated by user access rights (viewing and/or editing rights) based on the logged in user. - Maintained an MS SQL Server, which contained crucial City and restaurant data. Ensured that the backups were taken on time, that the maintenance plans were run smoothly and that the server was up all the time. Created (3) new databases to accompany the above-mentioned applications and their associated tables to meet the needs of the department. - Ran SQL queries and generated reports to compile the monthly reports (e.g. number of food poisoning complaints received by the City). - As of August 2018, the frontend applications and the backend databases had close to 100% reliability rate with minor down times for OS updates. I continued to provide support and consulting for the applications developed past the employment end date.
