* Consulting for Millennium Management, one of the largest hedge funds in USA, I wrote C++ x17 code to parse order transaction logs and transmit them with low latency, to replace an earlier system based on memory mapped files, but with an improved memory profile and better latency.

* Akbank AG is a German bank registered in Frankfurt am Main (€4.5 billion assets in 2018), providing corporate, retail and private banking services. I developed Excel / VBA applications (Bloomberg and Oracle FLEXCUBE connected Bonds and ETF deal capture and reporting app for Private Banking, Net Interest Margin reporter for user programmable General Ledger entries), maintain company web site, and work with the Business Objects reporting tool over the Oracle FLEXCUBE Core Banking Solution.

* I developed a new image registration / super resolution algorithm that operated in scale space, in Objective C @ macOS, and Swift / Metal C++ @ iOS.

* I developed, in Objective C, two iOS apps: the Mastermind number guessing game and a separate solver app with 7 new solver algorithms improving upon the published heuristic algorithms.

* Leading the E-Business software development team, to design, generate and publish risk management and MIS reports and implement workflow applications for this market leading enterprise (2011 turnover 8.3 billion USD).* In charge of special projects, for example:» Excel application to manage company targets in 6 dimensions into about 3 million formulated cells.» Access application to manage ~500K PDF files/year from our largest client, for legal compliance.» Master P&L for the entire company, based on extensive data capture from Treasury and Accounting.* Designed and implemented an Access application that keeps track of returned checks and past due notes. * Excel models of real estate development projects, using cash flow models to analyze and compare different financing structures, and an Access database to track business development research, all towards management of our 150 MM GBP equity.* Green-field setup of IT infrastructure, and budgeting and management of IT ops.

* Participated in the SAP R/3 implementation of Tetra Pak Turkey,* Developed mapping programs for the data team using Informatica PowerCenter, for transitioning legacy systems towards ISP,* SAP R/3 master data maintainer: primary for HR, backup for finance; act as the HR data super user.

* Managed a team of two developers,* Low level implementation of an ISAPI extension DLL in C++, boasting: a multi–threading pool with sync primitives, processing raw HTTP headers, and an in–memory database featuring a full B tree implementation, essentially stateless, supports multiple languages, and an access control mechanism with positive and negative override in an inheritance graph,* Extensive use of SQL Server (10K+ lines of T–SQL and instead of triggers) and an original object–relational mapping (replacing a database with 100+ tables by a single table with four columns),* Generic tool for dynamic creation of HTML & JavaScript based UI screens that provide smart client–side interactivity for arbitrary row sets in multiple languages (client–side logic utilizing 3.5K lines of JavaScript) boasting: a full type mechanism for client–side validation, and a runtime mechanism for caching arbitrary HTML in js files thereby minimizing use of com resources,* Using VB.NET, implement web services and parse XML data.

* Trained 3 months for Lipman (world’s 4th largest POS maker at the time) POS terminal embedded programming in C.* Field Services Automation is a SQL Server based client–server project utilizing HTML for UI: can render arbitrary tables and views, finding out involved columns and their types at run time, essentially stateless, supports multiple languages, access control by an inheritance hierarchy tree with positive and negative override, XML based dialog box logic, IEEE compliant design documents,* Participated in Lotus Notes based Field Services Automation projects for several banks, gaining Domino Designer experience.

* Developed an extremely detailed Wargaming Simulation in C++ during my military service at the Air War College of Turkish Armed Forces. Supports arbitrary hierarchies of types and instances of countries, armies, airbases, aircraft, missiles, radars and fuel. Missions can be defined involving aircraft from any airbase with arbitrary weapon loads and multi–way–point flight paths. The simulation includes target tracking of aircraft radars and missile radars, sophisticated damage computations, precise fuel consumptions and millimetric altitude changes during linear flight due to curvature of earth {1997}.
