Shonali is a design strategist and Partner at Now Form. Her focus is on UX/UI, motion and interaction, and design research. Her work has involved shaping and creating digital products, understanding trends, and creating thought leadership and digital roadmaps for clients primarily in BFSI, hospitality, healthcare, fashion, and tech. She has worked with clients including Marriott International, Dentsu, Oberoi, Siemens, Border&Fall, SUKETDHIR, Raw Mango, RJ Corp and Terrain.art, Asia’s first NFT marketplace. She has also worked on the user experience and interface of ILA, one of the most advanced AI-powered banking chatbots, for SBI Card and leads the team behind the digital transformation of their customer-facing website. Her brand-identity projects include designing the logo identity for Brown University's International Advanced Research Institutes (BIARI).As a design researcher, she has led several research workshops, including a strategy and user journey workshop for one of India’s largest B2B garment retailers. As a human-centred design researcher, she has also led her team at Now Form to create a framework to research low to moderately anaemic women workers at India's largest apparel manufacturer and exporter, Shahi Exports. She worked with stakeholders, including RCT experts, Good Business Lab (a not for profit labour innovation think tank), Women workers and Factory heads to identify problems, areas of intervention, and design interventions. A graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art, Shonali started her career at Group SJR (WPP) in New York, creating interactive content and graphics for clients such as GE, Amgen, Ford, and Dell, as well as designing digital campaigns, infographics, and reports for Target, Visa, Johnson & Johnson, Capital Group and Reebok, among others.
