Technical leadership, architecture development and research for next generation data storage solutions for the Emerging Technology Group at Xyratex (Nasdaq: XRTX). Primary focus was on solutions around I/O for High Performance Computing(HPC) and scale-out storage for cloud infrastructures. Involvement in generating ideas, concepts and prototypes targeted towards next generation HPC storage products through internal and collaborative R&D projects. Seagate(Nasdaq:STX) acquired Xyratex in April 2014.

4Blox was a venture backed enterprise infrastructure software company, accelerating Internet Protocol based Storage Area Networks. 4Blox is the first company focused on addressing system/CPU overheads due to storage networking protocols such as iSCSI, as a software only solution.My PhD dissertation was the basis for 4Blox.

The RDMA consortium was put together to address performance issues in next generation networking and storage subsystems. Worked on one of the first software prototypes of the RDMA suite of protocols with Intel Communications Group, Product R&D.
