• Handling the development and implementation of Safety programs like Contract & Contractor Management, Safety Management Programs, New Worker programs, etc., • Providing the training and orientation for the workmen on job specifications, site safety standards and monitoring the contractor safety. • Responsible for coordination, documentation, and dissemination of daily, weekly and monthly safety reports. • Coordinating with the senior leaders of all the departments for encouraging the workmen by interaction and rewarding them for reporting unsafe observations and near misses • Ensuring implementation of safe operating procedures and standard maintenance practices to create an accident-free environment in the Project sites • Implementing and handling the new worker program, safety standard operating procedures (SOP) and HSE standards for workmen in the project sites, and monthly safety reports • Conducting audits for productions blocks; resolving identified issues; leading accident investigations for root causes, and tracking. • Reporting any deficiency or violation of HSE rules and regulations for corrective actions • Checking Legal compliance status (Testing of Lifting Tools & Tackles, Mobile Equipment’s, Safety Belts (full body harnesses, fall arresters, etc.) & periodic calibration of measuring tools like analysers flow meters of both Contractors and company.• Attending business partner safety meetings and scheduling weekly audits and monthly audits, safety meeting and provide the requirement to change in safety related area.• work around inspections of site and check the safety measures used correctly by the workers and technicians and the chemists at the site and the equipment (Reactors) and also ensure the chemical storage safety by updating compatibility chart and incident investigation on the given time frame.• Also Creating Awareness about Emergency Situations by conducting and co – ordinating mock drills.
