In Indonesia, Indra operates under the legal entity of PT Indra Indonesia that is wholly owned by Indra Spain.Delivered the first contract signed by PT Indra Indonesia for a project titled: "Strengthening ASEAN Secretariat Business Process and IT System: A Needs Assessment Study." The project is aimed at providing an analysis to the current back office administration of ASEAN Secretariat in order to propose improvements along with suitable enterprise resource planning system candidates to cater the day-to-day operation of the ASEAN Secretariat.Involved in the writing of National Crime Information Center (NCIC) Phase 2 Feasibility Study for the Indonesian National Police. We were tasked to define the requirements and calculate the budget for implementing the phase 2 of the system that will extend the coverage to include all police offices throughout the country.

Involved in the implementation of Integrated Budgeting and Treasury System of the Ministry of Finance of Indonesia. It is a turnkey project that consists of software, hardware, and communication infrastructure provisioning. The project also includes the building of a data center in Jakarta and a disaster recovery center in Surabaya, East Java. This project aims at providing Ministry of Finance core treasury and budget functions, as follows:• Budget Preparation• Management of Spending Authority• Commitment Management• Payment Management• Processing of Government Receipts• General Ledger and Chart of Accounts• Cash ManagementThe original contract value is approximately US$ 41.7 million and the project time frame spans for 9 years, consisting of 3 years development, 1 year warranty, and 5 years post warranty.

Involved in defining an IT Blueprint of the Independent State of Samoa. The scope of this project included: 1) diagnosis of the existing environment, and; 2) draft the e-Government Strategy that includes: (a) Propose an e-Government infrastructure, including the financial assessment of the overall capital investment and recurrent costs, and help drafting technical specifications as well as procurement documents; (b) propose a list of specific e-Government applications which will bear the highest impact in the context of Samoa, and define an implementation plan for each of these, based on a revenue generation model to insure long term sustainability; (c) identify the changes needed in the legal, regulatory and institutional framework in order to enable the implementation of the strategy; (d) define a clear timeline for the strategy implementation with milestones and a monitoring and evaluation framework; (e) assess the overall benefit of the proposed strategy.

Serves as a consultant for a project titled: "HAN 3 – Assess Key ICT Infrastructure & Applications and Identify Priority Business Process/ Services and Departments/ Districts"The objectives of this consultancy is to: 1) Analyze and evaluate the current level of and demand for ICT infrastructure in Hanoi, including hardware, software, databases, existing feasibility studies and key ongoing investments and the Hanoi Portal); conduct surveys of ICT applications in government departments and district offices. 2) Identify which departments and districts should participate in subproject and how they should be prioritized. Identify which core processes, information and services should be e-enabled, prioritize these and cost 15 key e-government services.

Contracted as a Project Manager for a project titled: "ICT Development of Pusintek Ministry of Finance of Indonesia"The project was aimed at re-positioning PUSINTEK (Center for ICT Development) of MOF to become a Common Service Provider (CSP) for all sub units of Ministry of Finance’s organization by building up a new set of ICT policies and standards and developed several TOR for the planned procurement to enhance current Service Desk Room and the building of a new disaster recovery center at Surabaya city. The project comprises of five work streams, namely:1. Operation Maintenance of SISKOLAB (Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence). 2. Network and Security Improvements. 3. Development of ICT Policies and Standards. (ITSM, ISMS, BCM, and ITPM),4. Development of Pusintek’s Helpdesk. Implementation of SIPELANTIK, a customized version of Touchpaper® suited to meet Pusintek’s needs. 5. Development of Policy and Procedure to promote PUSINTEK as ICT Common Service Provider (CSP) for Ministry of Finance organization. Assessment of Pusintek’s current service capacity. Assessment of Pusintek’s roles and responsibilities in relation with CSP.

Contracted to produce two software applications for the Ministry of Development Planning (Bappenas), namely:1. PP 39 -2006. Application to Monitor State’s Development Plan Execution based on Presidential Decree No. 39, 2006.2. Loans & Grants Monitoring SystemThese project are realized using part of a loan disbursed by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for the Government of Indonesia.Both systems are delivered in due course and still be used until today.

Responsible for shifting the company’s strategy from operating as a traditional one-stop-services IT System Integrator Company to become a service-oriented business by creating replicable IT services that are easy to be marketed, executed, and evolved – in contrast to the project-based service where every project is unique and hard to be replicated. I was also responsible for setting up a new IT consultancy line of business within the company that resulted in the first international competitive bidding contract awarded by the World Bank for a project at the Ministry of Finance of Indonesia.Awarded the fastest promotion in the history of the company, on my 26th birthday, by becoming one of the members of the Board of Directors in just nine months after I joined the company for the first time as Junior Application Programmer. At the peak of its operations, the company hosted more than 140 staff.
