About Said Eid

I have Petroleum Engineering BSC from Cairo University in 1985, began my career in the oil industry in 1987 having joined Operating Oil Company as a Petroleum Engineer in Oil Field, Since then I have built up a broad range of Oilfield experience over a period of 30 years. in 1997, Joined Baker Hughes as a Project Manager for one of Deep Water Project in Mediterranean Sea in West Delta Deep Marin for lower and Upper Completion Design Production Optimisation. This role involved planning, executing and supervision of high profile down hole Completion and Sand Control Equipment. I took up the position of Marketing and Engineering Manager for Completion, Well Bore Interventions and Intelligent well Completion segment.In summary, my main strengths and areas of experience are: - •Offshore / Onshore Supervision of personnel •Completion system specification and planning of major projects•Completion installation techniques and supervision•Effective communication and Field supervision of multi-national crews•Experience of mobilising and running remote locations
