I am Said Elakad, a passionate student pursuing an Honours B.CS in Computer Science with a concentration in Cyber Security at Carleton University. Currently, I serve as a Project Officer in Cyber Security at Public Services and Procurement Canada, where I apply my expertise in software development and data analysis to bolster organizational security. With hands-on experience in testing and implementing innovative cybersecurity training programs, I provide valuable insights that help organizations navigate complex security challenges effectively.In my role, I have led phishing simulations that identified vulnerabilities, and developed interactive cybersecurity training tools using Java and PowerApps, significantly enhancing engagement and learning outcomes. My ability to analyze data from these initiatives has enabled me to improve security protocols and strengthen overall security posture.I am actively seeking opportunities in software development and software engineering roles, both front-end and back-end.
