I obtained my PhD in Cancer Biology from Okayama University, Japan, in 2019. My research during my PhD led to the development of a new model for liver cancer stem cells (CSCs) which published in the British Journal of Cancer. My project was selected for a postdoctoral scholarship by the Japanese Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), which I held from 2020 to 2022 at Okayama University. During that time I confirmed that CSCs could serve as a viable source of TAMEs, playing a role in the differentiation of mammary gland epithelial cells and their progression to invasive carcinoma during tumor development . One of my notable achievements is authoring a book on cancer stem cell biology and techniques, published by Springer under the title Methods in Cancer Stem Cell Biology.
