• Installing the SQL server 2014 & 2016 and 2019 and applying the service packs.• Daily checking the issues like backup failures, failed logins and resolve the issues. • Working on database Backup and Restoration process.

• Installation & Configuration of SQL Server 2005/2008/2008R2/2012/2014/2016/2019 in different environment like production, Test and Development Environment. • Database Backups & Restoration, Backup Strategies, Scheduling Backups. Backing up master & system databases and restoring them when necessary.• Index creation and maintenance. • Using Database Transformation Services for Import as well as Export of Data to & from Other Applications being used by the Organization.• Creation of Logins, Roles and Granting permissions.• Granting rights to the users to access the Applications.• To add the data files and log files based on the requirement.• Disk space management, shrinking the log files to free up space.• Troubleshooting the Transaction log full and Temp db full issues.• Running the Server-side traces based on the client requirement.

• Installing and configuring various versions of SQL Server (2005/2008/2008R2/2012/2014/2016) in different environments, including production, test, and development setups.• Performing database backups and restores, developing backup strategies, and scheduling automated backups. This includes handling backups for master and system databases and restoring them when needed.• Managing index creation and maintenance to ensure optimal database performance.• Utilizing Database Transformation Services for both importing and exporting data to and from other applications used within the organization.• Resolving high availability issues to ensure database uptime and reliability.• Addressing transaction replication challenges and resolving any related issues.• Handling problems related to database mirroring and log shipping setups.• Utilizing DBCC (Database Console Commands) and DMVs (Dynamic Management Views) to check and maintain database consistency.• Monitoring and managing fragmentation issues and implementing re-indexing as necessary.
